Етико-лінгвістичні особливості ділового спілкування англійською та українською мовами

Abstract

The course work consists of two chapters, conclusions to each chapter, general conclusions, a summary, a list of references and a list of illustrative material. The first chapter, "Theoretical Foundations of the Study of Ethical Linguistic Features of Business Communication in English and Ukrainian", is devoted to the functional style of language and features of business discourse, as well as genres of oral business communication. The second chapter, "Speech Etiquette in Business Communication," presents a business telephone conversation as a form of business oral communication and its features. The models of speech behavior of participants in Ukrainian and English business telephone communication, in particular, the phases of dialogue, etiquette frameworks, speech clichés, etiquette formulas, and paralinguistic means are also considered.
