Abstract

This term paper examines the peculiarities of the use of interrogative sentences in modern English and Ukrainian languages. The work examines the classification of interrogative sentences, their features and use in various linguistic situations, in particular in interview texts in modern media discourse. The study includes the analysis of examples of texts that demonstrate the diversity of the use of interrogative sentences in the English and Ukrainian languages.The paper conducts a comparative analysis of the peculiarities of the use of interrogative sentences in the English and Ukrainian languages, paying attention to the differences in the corresponding grammatical structures and semantic features. The work also explores the use of interrogative sentences in different genres of media discourse, such as interviews.
