Структурно-семантичні особливості фразеологізмів із компонентами на позначення страв у сучасних англійській і українській мовах

Abstract

This term paper is devoted to the study of structural and semantic features of phraseological units with food components in Ukrainian and English. Phraseological units are an important part of the language, as they embody the cultural and linguistic aspects of the people.The purpose of this paper is to identify common and distinctive features of phraseological units with food components in Ukrainian and English. In order to achieve this goal, the author analyzed the literature, studied various studies in this area and collected a large number of phraseological units with both languages.The methods of structural and semantic analysis and comparison were used in the study, which allowed us to establish general patterns and differences in the use of phraseological units with food components. It has been found that both languages have a wide range of phraseological expressions related to dishes, but their structure and semantics may differ.
