Abstract

The study on the topic "Linguistic markers of doubt in modern English and Ukrainian languages" is devoted to the analysis of linguistic markers that express doubt in English and Ukrainian language cultures. The term paper consists of an introduction, three chapters, general conclusions, a list of references and a list of illustrative sources. The first chapter "Теоретичні засади дослідження мовних маркерів як лінгвістичного явища" ("Theoretical foundations of the study of language markers as a linguistic phenomenon") is theoretical. It examines the concept of "linguistic markers" in language and the classification and function of language markers of doubt in the text are studied. The second section "Семантичні й прагматичні ознаки мовних маркерів сумніву в сучасній англійські та українській" ("Semantic and pragmatic features of language markers of doubt in modern English and Ukrainian") is a practical study. It presents an analysis of linguistic markers and their role in marking doubt in English and Ukrainian languages.
