dc.description.abstract	The article under review deals with the Great Britain and the USA electoral manipulative discourse. The main approaches towards the manipulation notion interpretation, as well as the main typical characteristics of manipulative techniques in the electoral speeches are under analysis. The theoretical provisions are supported by the practical analysis of two speeches delivered by Tony Blair, the ex-prime-minister of Great Britain, and two speeches delivered by Barack Obama, the ex-president of the USA.	en_US
