The purpose of this researchis to identify lexicaland semantic features of Modern English fashionlanguage and determine the impact of thesemeans on the consumer. The aimdetermines the need to solve specific objectives:-To define the notion of fashion languageas observed in Modern English fashion texts, forthe purpose of its further description;-To highlight the lexical and semantic features of the language of the fashion industry;-To identify and study the pragmatic influence of lexicaland syntactic expressive means in Modern English fashion language;-To determine the role of fashion texts in modern mass communication.
