Образність Covid-19 в англомовній та українськомовній поезії: мультимодально-стилістичний і компаративний аспекти

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine multimodal stylistic means of constructing COVID-19 imagery in Anglophone and Ukrainian poetic texts in comparative aspect. The aim of this research is achieved by performing the following tasks: • to investigate the phenomenon of COVID-19; • to discuss COVID-19 from a linguistic perspective; • to examine COVID-19-related poetry; • to outline the main features of multimodal stylistics; • to analyse and compare multimodal stylistic characteristics of COVID-19 imagery in Anglophone and Ukrainian poetic texts.
