dc.description.abstract | The article is devoted to the lexical and structural analysis of neologisms in physical and rehabilitation medicine terminology in French. It is necessary to stress that communicative technologies (smartphones, phablets, tablets, and smart watches), social networks, on line voice and video calls app, virtual reality, different simulators for rehabilitation and functional recovery of handicapped people have direct impact upon new terms formation. It has been determined that the component “tele-” is widely used to form neologisms in French. The English suffix -ing is often used to form terms denoting a process. English borrowings are also widely used to denote modern technologies in this sphere. | en_US |
