Syntax in Ukrainian and English political speech as a means of reducing the speaker`s responsibility: a comparative method

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine syntax in Ukrainian and English political speeches. This aim presupposes the following tasks: - Definition of the concept of political discourse; - Definition of the syntax; - Analyzing the rhetoric peculiarities in State Leaders` Speeches; - Highlighting the rhetorical figures in the ritual genres; - Analyzing the syntactic stylistic means of the British and Ukrainian debate.
