Abstract:
The term paper is devoted to the study of the morphological structure of words in the English and Ukrainian languages.The research paper formulates the theoretical prerequisites for the study of the essence of the word formation concept and identifies its main issues, characterises the means of word formation, and establishes the morphemic
structures of the English and Ukrainian languages. The leading ways of word formation in the considered languages have been identified and systematised, and a comparative analysis of the morphological structure in these languages has been carried out.
