Abstract:
This Term Paper deals with the speech etiquette of the Ukrainians and English in communicative situations of invitation and apology. The first chapter deals with communication, its concept and types; with intercultural communication and its genres; with speech etiquette, its concept and functions. The second chapter is devoted to the speech etiquette of the Ukrainians and the English in communicative situations. Speech etiquette in the situation of invitation and apology is considered, common and distinctive features of theirspeech behavior, both verbal and nonverbal are identified.
