Theoretical and methodological fundamentals of analysis and assessment of tourist potential of Ukraine

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to scientific approaches to the concept of "tourist potential" and its essence. Tourism potential is a unique feature of Ukraine that can be used to improve the socio-economic situation of the local population and the country as a whole through revenues from the tourism industry to state and local budgets, as well as to consolidate the population through tourism cooperation between different regions of Ukraine and create positive tourist image of the country. The generalization of foreign experience of state management of tourism potential formation allowed to offer for implementation tried and recognized by the international community public administration practices of tourism potential formation and to formulate practical recommendations on tourism potential formation in the direction of domestic tourism development.
