Abstract

The research on the topic "Stylistic Means in Demon Dentist by D.Williams: semantics and functioning" is devoted to the analysis of the concept of multimodality in a literary text. The thesis consists of an introduction, two chapters, general conclusions and a list of references. The first chapter, "Theoretical and Methodological Foundations of Imagery in a Multimodal Text (Demon Dentist by David Williams)", is theoretical. Its main task is to define the main concepts and to reveal the concept of multimodality. The second section "Practical Application of Imagery in Demon Dentist" is practically oriented. It presents an analysis and examples of various images and their author's transmission through the multimodality of the text.
