Abstract

The aim of the research is to examine and systematize verbal imagery used for Princess Diana‘s characterization in Sarah Bradford‘s Diana. The object of this research is tropology in personae characterization in Princess Diana‘s biographical discourse and ways and means of creating her psychological portrait, while the subject-matter of the paper is verbal imagery used for revealing Princess Diana‘s character.
