Abstract:
The aim of the paper lies in finding the most suitable ways of translating of
English politically correct lexicon into the Ukrainian language.
The object of the research is a politically correct lexicon in the English
language mass-media discourse.
The subject of the study includes peculiarities of both English and Ukrainian
politically correct words, their translations, and relations with linguistic and extralinguistic
factors of mass-media texts.
The material of the research includes the articles of the popular English
language newspapers and Internet portals.
The structure of a paper: three chapters followed by Conclusions, General
Conclusions, the List of reference materials, the List of Illustrations, and a Resume.
