Політкоректність у перекладацькому аспекті: транслатологічні стратегії та тактики

Abstract

The aim of the paper lies in finding the most suitable ways of translating of English politically correct lexicon into the Ukrainian language. The object of the research is a politically correct lexicon in the English language mass-media discourse. The subject of the study includes peculiarities of both English and Ukrainian politically correct words, their translations, and relations with linguistic and extralinguistic factors of mass-media texts. The material of the research includes the articles of the popular English language newspapers and Internet portals. The structure of a paper: three chapters followed by Conclusions, General Conclusions, the List of reference materials, the List of Illustrations, and a Resume.
