Abstract:
The object of the study is cinematic codes in contemporary English fiction
from a linguosemiotic perspective.
The subject of our study is linguistic and narrative means of reflecting
cinematic techniques in fiction.
The present work involves the following specific methods of analysis:
componential, linguostylistic, intersemiotic, as well as conceptual.
The theoretical significance of the work lies in a systematic approach to the
study of cinematic codes in fiction.
The scientific novelty lies in the fact that previously intermedialitywas most
often selected from literary texts and considered from a stylistic point of view. Due to
the development of science and technology, and as a consequence of changes in
culture and art that have led to new approaches and methods of research,
intermediality is studied not only in literary texts but also in films.
