Abstract

The aim of the investigation consists in the analysis of lexical-semantic properties of predicates of state denoting mental condition of man in the different contexts of functioning. The set purpose will be realized through the concluding of such definite tasks: to consider a question about semantic classification of predicates of state in the English language; to define the classification signs of predicates of state; to make general semantic classification of predicates of state in the English; to analyze lexical-semantic properties of predicates of state denoting mental condition in different contexts of functioning.
