Linguo-cognitive and pragmatic features of the prosodic organization of English parables

Abstract

This paper highlights the results of aninvestigation of thecognitive and pragmatic featuresof prosodic loadingin English parables. The analysis of the prosodicorganization of directive intentions in a parable was performed by applying systematization and classification of the pragmatic aspect, structural and semantic, functional and pragmatic specificityin order toexamine the process of producingand understanding the texts of English parables.
