Abstract:
In the article it is proved that the components of the admission professional test to the postgraduate study in specialty 011 Educational / pedagogical sciences for the specialization "Theory and Methods of Teaching: German / Romance Languages" should be integral, general and professional competencies. In view of the fact that each of the professional competencies consists of at least four components: knowledge, skills,
abilities, readiness to master and improve the professional and methodological competence of a foreign language teacher / professor, the author concluded that in the process of professional testing it is necessary to control not only theoretical preparation of applicants, but practical as well. The volume of such training in the discipline "Methodology of teaching foreign languages and cultures" is specified according to four
content modules and is divided into gnostic, communicative-educational,constructive-planning and organizational methodological professional skills.
