Abstract

The aim of this work is to reveal and multimodal aspects of woman image construal in “The Handmaid’s Tale”.The object of the paper is a woman image portrayal* in Margaret Atwood’s novel “The Handmaid’s Tale”.The subject-matter of the present study is the stylistic and multimodal aspects of woman image construal in the analysed novel.
