Abstract:
The purpose of the term paper is the determination of the specificity and the
main regularities of the English TV interviews’ prosodic means actualisation.
In order to achieve this goal, there is a need to consider the following tasks:
− to outline the general characteristics of English TV interviews as an
object of linguistic studies;
− to describe functional types of English TV interviews and their textual
structure;
− to analyse the intonational features of the English TV interviews;
− to elaborate the programme and methodology of the experimental
research;
− to applicate general scientific methods while conducting the research;
− to determine invariant and variable features of prosodic actualization
of English TV interviews.
