Abstract:
The course work is devoted to the study of the dialect areas of Korea. The work examines
the territorial distribution of various dialects and their peculiarities. The dialect areas of
North and South Korea were analyzed, and their main features were determined. The work also focuses on the influence of historical events on the development of dialects and their current state. The work used various sources, including scientific articles, books and online resources. An analysis of linguistic features of each dialect area was carried out, which made it possible to determine their characteristics and relationships between them.
The general conclusion is that the dialects of Korea have many peculiarities and are an
integral part of the country's cultural heritage. However, with the growing impact of
globalization, their preservation and development requires the constant attention and efforts of sociolinguists and linguists. The work can be useful for anyone interested in Korean language and culture.
