Abstract:
Purpose of the study; consists of a comprehensive study of the means of
realizing emotions in English comics with the help of exclamations, both at the level
of individual emotive-expressive expressions and at the level of emotive speech acts
and speech acts with an emotive component.
The purpose of this study predetermined the solution of the following tasks: - To analyze emotionality and expressiveness in modern linguistics of
emotions
- Evaluate exclamations as means bordering on verbal and non-verbal
expression of emotions
- To provide a description of exclamations in a modern English comic
- Investigate exclamation as an outstanding feature of communicative
behavior and its representation in modern English comics
- To analyze the expression of emotions in modern comics based on the
classification of exclamations.
