Abstract:
This paper is devoted to a comparative analysis of the functioning of impersonal verb forms in the titles of scientific articles on geography. The main material for the analysis used in this study was taken from texts written in both English and Ukrainian.
This comparative analysis aims to reveal the peculiarities of the use of impersonal verb forms in scientific discourse, as they can play an important role in the structure and expressiveness of scientific texts.
Ultimately, this study contributes to a better understanding of both structural and semantic aspects of the use of impersonal verb forms in scientific texts written in two different languages.
