dc.description.abstract	The research aim of this paper is to examine empathic expressions in English-language media discourse and their translation into Ukrainian. The analysis of empathic expressions in media texts, such as articles, interviews, and reports, will reveal the specifics of their use and identify the most effective translation strategies. The main objectives of this work are: - To define the concepts of "empathy" and "empathic statements". - To analyze the peculiarities of empathic expressions in English-language media discourse. -To develop methods and techniques for translating empathic expressions into Ukrainian. -To study the quality of translation of empathic expressions in Ukrainian media.	en_US
