Лексико-граматичний аспект перекладу англійських воєнних термінів українською мовою

Abstract

This research paper examines the main innovation processes that have been triggered by events in the world and especially in Ukraine, mainly of a military nature. It is important to note that English-speaking countries are advanced, including in the military sphere. Therefore, their news or reports are often translated into many languages, which in turn encourages the emergence and spread of military discourse in all spheres of life around the world. Given the current situation in Ukraine, it is certainly no exception. Media coverage of the latest events in Ukraine requires the inclusion of new concepts that have not previously existed in our language and need to be clearly explained. Tasks defined above includes the following specific research objectives: - to consider the nature and origin of military discourse in the media; - to consider the ways of translating military discourse; - to analyze a corpus of 50 terms of English and Ukrainian military terminology in the Russian-Ukrainian war in order to determine the ways of translating English terms into Ukrainian.
