Короткий опис(реферат):
The purpose of the paper is to define and describe the peculiarities of the
concept FRIENDSHIP in the contrasted cultures and to study the role and place
of the concept of FRIENDSHIP in the Ukrainian and Canadian linguistic
cultures.
Tasks. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to study the works of
predecessors (1), define the concept of “language consciousness” in modern
linguistics (2), find out what the concept is and how it is implemented in the
contrasted languages (3), and study the concept of FRIENDSHIP as an associative
object in Ukrainians and Canadians (4).
