dc.description.abstract Foreign language communicative competence covers intercultural communication skills relating not only to a deep knowledge of literary norms of a foreign language, but also to a range of communication skills for the successful performance of communicative tasks and compliance with expectations of native speakers and other communicators. The research objective consists in a comprehensive theoretical and experimental study of the problem of formation of foreign language communicative competence of students of higher education institutions (HEIs) (on the basis of English as a foreign language). Methods: comprehensive theoretical analysis of the concept of communicative competence; ascertaining experiment; study and analysis of literature. en_US
